It's been a while. I'm still all fucked up as usual. I've gone to concerts that I can't stand... repeatedly, for someone who I thought was my friend, but wasn't. Spent large amounts of money. That I can't recompense.

On the other hand, my hunky hunk has stuck by me through and through.

And I've made a few friends of the like mind.

And my children are growing and growing each day.

And by the way, I'm still on Lexepro, and it just makes me feel like a normal person these days.

Cheers to you and yours.

Until tomorrow...

Lexapro

Mind swimming
Numbing
Jaw clenching
On the verge of sleep
Dreaming twilight dreams
Waiting for the moment
Calmness quiets
Toxic brain swim

I am a dangerous friend.

I can't be one of those friends that you superficially share stuff with. I am one of those friends that will be with you through all of the hard stuff that life has to offer.
This scares people away from me I think.
I think it does because when you have a friend like that, you have to do the same for them. It is a huge emotional liability.

Twilight...Just when you thought that you were too old for teenage angst...

So I was listening to Sirrus Alt Nation and the DJ was talking about Twilight. It put a bug in my ear and the next time I was at a conglomerate retailer I saw the said book so I picked it up. It hang around my desk for a week or two, and then I picked it up. I didn't put it down, and read the next 3 books in the series within a few days. I then read it again. It was a terribly guilty pleasure-

Then I took my hunk to the movies to see Twilight... uggg. I was embarrassed to be surrounded by so many little teeny boppers. We should have gone to the 10:20 show. It was alright-- different from the book, and a little like a B movie.
I would go see it again though-- just because i heart Stephenie Meyer.

Heart Explosion.

Have you ever felt that your heart was going to stop beating? In a bad way. Felt some sort of sorrow that literally made the world slow down and go into slow motion and you could feel your heart come to a stop.
Someone that I love very dearly is suffering from a cruel twist of fate, and the longer they hold on the crueler it gets. Said person needs to have extensive medical treatment, and checkups and they have to be taken there by someone else.-- Me or her significant other (not me.) It is so shitty the looks you get from people... like they are sad for you, and happier than hell that they are not in your shoes.
What is even worse is when people in the medical profession give you the shitty news and expect you to relay it to the terminally ill person. What do you do with that... oh- by the way- they said that your MRI looks like shit.
